What formats will you supply the files in?
Any sample rate or bit depth can be supplied up to 192khz, 32 bit.
The most common are mp3 (at 128 kbps stereo), wav, and AIFF (at uncompressed 44.1khz or 48khz at 16bit or 24bit).
What is your turnaround time?
3 days is the target time frame for supplying audio to you from the time your confirmation email and final script is received.
NOTE: This only apply to scripts of between 0-5 minutes duration.
What if I don't like the recording? (REVISION POLICY)
I will give you several more reads if necessary to try to achieve your vision, but if after this time I am unsuccessful then I will cancel the invoice. You only pay for the files once they are recorded to your satisfaction.
- Performance Mistakes:Mispronunciations or missing words are fixed at no charge.
- Artistic Edits:One round of feedback concerning pacing or tone is included at no charge. I typically charge for each round afterward.
- Script Rewrites:One round of rewrites, that are less than 10% of the final script, is included at no charge. Additional rounds typically cost 20% of the original budget. Rewrites beyond 10% will be quoted upon request.
- Extras:Any extras requirements required outside the initial agreement i.e., file splitting and naming, script change, background music etc. will attract an extra fee depending upon the extent of work.
- Express Delivery:If you will require the audio file sooner than the initially agreed time, an extra express delivery fee will be charged.
What are your payment terms?
My standard payment terms are net 7 days of supplying final audio files and invoice.
70% deposit before work and 30% balance after delivery of final audio files in the format of choice.
What Currency do you accept?
I receive payments in USD $, Pounds, and Naira.
My standard voice-over rates are in USD $ but I will provide you with a cost equivalent based on what is most suited for your country.
What sound equipment does your studio have?
I record on a Rode NT1, Focusrite CM25 or Rode NT2A, into a Scarlett 212 Studio OR Rode Ai1 digital interface. My DAW (audio recording program) is Adobe Audition.
Can I listen to the recording live and provide real-time feedback?
Yes! Using Phone call, Skype, Google Meet or Zoom you can listen in to the recording and provide real-time feedback anywhere in the world!

DEFINITIONS
CANCELLATION FEE
If less than 24 hours notice is given before the time of the booking full fee is payable.
POSTPONEMENT
A call may be postponed without penalty provided that a further booking is made within 7 days of the original call. In all other cases, a full fee is payable. Only one postponement is allowed. If an altered call is canceled within the postponement period the full fee is payable.
ROLLOVER
Where use exceeds the initial contracted period a rollover fee will apply.
SUBMISSION
‘Submission’ is defined as a recording where a performer is asked to voice a proposed script for a commercial for demonstration purposes only. A submission track may be broadcast provided a final broadcast fee is paid. If a track is a submission this must be notified to the artist/ agent at the time of booking otherwise the full fee is payable. It will be assumed unless otherwise notified, that all submissions (not including research only) are going to air. The balance of the fee will be invoiced 30 days following the date of the job.
CORRECTION
Before a track being played or broadcast for the first time, a booking other than the initial submission booking may be made to change the track. This booking will be paid for at the same rate as the submission booking.
CHARACTER VOICE
Means any voice or sound that is not within the range of a Voice-over Artist’s normal reading voice, including singing or any accent or voice for an animated character.
ANIMATION
For animation voiceovers, additional minimum usage fees and contracts will apply as per MEAA guidelines and awards.
TRAVEL
A travel allowance is payable where travel to the recording location is more than 50 kilometers.
POLITICAL or RELIGIOUS
Double total fee.
NAME ASSOCIATION
Double the fee where the performer’s name (either visually or audibly) is used in conjunction with any campaign.
OVERSEAS
Double total fee except for UK and USA which are by negotiation.
